Out of #primal #freefrom and #damus, as far as I can tell, only Primal allows a user to follow a hashtag, and none allow a user to mute a hashtag. (Please instruct me if I’m wrong, or if a Nostr client exists that allows both!)

Being able to mute notes containing certain hashtags and being able to follow other hashtags would be powerful tools for users to curate their feeds. There is a need and desire for this.

I’d like to emphasize that NSFW is just one hashtag people may wish to mute. I’ve seen other users wishing to mute religious hashtags, or temporarily take a break from Bitcoin-related content, etc. So keeping the ability to select which hashtags to follow and mute general and easy to edit is something I think is important.
