After much trial, error, procrastination and actual busy-ness, Iβve finally gotten nearly done with the romper I crocheted for Sophia! All that remains is to sew the zipper in.
Too bad sheβs already outgrown this π

I love it!!! did you self draft the pattern? I'd be interested
Yeah, I planned this generally but winged it specifically π I can try to dig up my βpatternβ
haha don't worry about it. I would probably do the same anyway.

This diagram shows my overall plan! I went with 3-6 month and kind of laid my work on top of one of her rompers to figure out when to change from legs to main body, etc., basically just to see how big to make all the sections.
Leg and arm holes are 42 st around using size 3 cotton yarn; its Hobby Lobbyβs Sugarwheel Sprinkles On Top. I had thought it would be ombrΓ© and not stripe, though, but itβs still quite cute!
I did a little pattern every fourth row because if I just count and count with no variation I go loopy π€ͺ
For that, four regular stitches, then two that dip down two rows below the current row.
I was hoping this would make more dramatic V shapes that would make the colors βmixβ more, but I was still figuring out how the striping worked, and just decided to go with it. It does kind of make a subtle wave effect that I like this way.

nice! thanks for the notes!
