What is the best ad blocker for Chrome?

I'm using uBlock Origin but chrome says "may soon be unsupported"

Don't use chrome, it's #Google spyware.

Use something else

#Firefox

#Librewolf (<- recommended)

#Chromium

#Chromite

#Brave

Then maybe

#uBlockOrigin

#uMatrix

And set up a #Pi-Hole

This pi hole thing is new to me and super interesting.

I will check it out.

I understand it requires that I have a device at home, running 24/7?

Or could I deploy it in cloud on a Linux VM and use to protect my home network, too?

Like, home router using my could VM IP as a DNS, would this work?
