I disagree in theory and in practice (my family). Everyone isn't mentally, physically, emotionally or financially stable to bring another human being into the world, and perpetuate the cycle.
My mother was a schizophrenic. My childhood was horrible. I’m still glad I was born. We rise above our circumstances.
YOU rose above your circumstances. Do you believe 100% of children in your exact situation would turn out as lucky? The word "everyone" is an absolute and I push back against that. But I won't disqualify your opinion based on your experience
it's funny that everyone who says stuff like this is in the top 5% of conscientiousness, generally the people who should be breeding if we want the empathetic and aesthetically pleasing societies of our forefathers. And for every person that refuses to have kids under similar reasoning, someone who can’t speak or read any of the world’s languages in anything more complicated than a pidgin or creole is breeding above replacement. Demographics is destiny, and the entire white world is going to look like the streets of Lagos and Calcutta soon enough.
