But if I Only published to my private relay then I'm just shouting into the void which actually has some very interesting purposes and use cases in my opinion. But if I want to interact in the public sphere then I have to trust other relays with my signed messages and some of these relays will archive them forever. Others may have different strategies than I prefer when it comes to things like delete requests, etc. So it's kind of a catch-22 in that regard as far as I can tell.
