I mean, I get it. Most phones have caller ID these days so they have your number, supposedly.

Yeah I dunno. It's even worse if they do that, but the number in your phone puts you in an automated system ๐Ÿ˜‚

That happened to me by accident once when my call dropped while talking to an insurance agent. Somehow I made it back to him through the automated system and a secretary, but it turns out he was trying to call me back at the same time.

If I'm leaving a message for friends or family, I don't. If I'm leaving a message at a doctor's office, new person, or a business it's name, number, why I called, then name and number again. I hate it when I get a message about something important and have to listen to the message 5 times because they spit out a number too fast one time and it's different from the one they called from.
