Is anyone using Whirlpool via Sparrow (on the latest version) and see this on some of your mixes? The popup prompt has been like this showing "Register Input 20%" for a few days now.

It was the same way on the old version. You just have to wait. My last mix of multiple UTXOs took about 3 weeks to fully mix. The longer the timeframe, the harder it is to run analytics on it.

I swear I'm the older Sparrow versions when you hovered, it would show it was registered as an input out of the total inputs in the pool and then show more progress on the progress bar after it joined a mix

This almost seems like it's stuck and hasn't registered

Oh well 🤞🏻 it finally joins a mix

You might be right. I can’t remember if there was a percentage when you hovered over it, but there was definitely an advance on the bar. I think you should be fine. You can always pause and restart the mix.

Noticed this change in the new version as well and wondered the same thing. Have had it functioning fine though, so don't think you are missing anything or need to do anything 🤙

Appreciate it!

This is all a normal part of the Whirlpool process. It is only a random selection process.

Yeah I guess my concern was that I haven't seen it progress past 20% for the longest time. Like its connected to the Whirlpool but my inputs aren't being registered

I'll be more patient

It is random, and follows the rules so that every mix is not with any of your own uxtos, and has new remixers paying the mining fee.

If using Sparrow you need to leave the instance open and running. You can set your computer to never sleep and then lock the Sparrow wallet. OR you can run whirlpool cli on dedicated hardware so that it just runs 24/7

"Uxto's which are waiting to remix will sit at 20% ready to be chosen at random by the Whirlpool Coordinator to participate in a coinjoin cycle. Remixing is free and it is normal for the status of remixing uxto's to be at 20%. Once your uxto is chosen to participate in a remix the status will move to 100% within a matter of seconds."

ahh cool, thank you!
