Sooooo what do you think about XrP?
XRP is a decentralized digital asset just like Bitcoin. It’s a great long term hold due to its utility as a bridge asset.
Most maxis hate it because they consider it centralized, however this isn’t true. In fact, some may argue.. that it’s network more decentralized than BTC.
Most people conflate Ripple and XRP. Ripple is a payments company that owns 39% of the total XRP currently. Ripple is a centralized company with products that they sell to financial institutions. The XRP ledger is at the core of their products.
The XRP that they currently hold is locked up in Escrow.. and cannot be “dumped” on retail holders. Ripples goal is to move money like information moves today, thereby creating the “internet of value”.
XRP is a solid hold and in my opinion, doesn’t compete with Bitcoin. At times I ponder on why Maxis have been feeling threatened by XRP..
I believe there should be a digital asset stockpile. I would love for it to include sll types of digital assets .. not just bitcoin.
