I spent much of my early childhood on a commune. it was a large multi-family homestead where everyone lived off the land, ate organic/real food, worked hard, relied on natural remedies and isolated themselves from media, politics, and societal pressures.
you know what happened? they got diabetes, kidney stones, heart disease, parkinson’s, and cancers. there were a couple autistic kids and most of the others grew up to embrace drugs and alcohol. there were murders and sex scandals. the remnants today are constantly begging for money.
sorry to ruin your black panther party.
That's fascinating. Presumably you escaped that fate?

Woah, I guess that's a real 'there but for the grace of god go I' situations. I've had my share of those too.
