Donkey meet is very good and tender.. also horse meat is.. considered a delicatessen here.. yeah I understand horses are super intelligent and cute.. but very tasty also 😅.

No reasons to not eat horse. I think it's a bit too lean but i had steak a couple of times and it was pretty good. Maybe somehody can crossbreed wagyu beef with a horse?

Here we do what is called "Braciole di cavallo" cavallo is horse.. basically they are rolled thin slices with inside a bit of fat, grana padano, pepper, garlick, salt, parsley. Cooked in tomato souce for 3+ hrs, slow cooking.. DELICIOUS 😋

We actually used to have a horse butcher in my town, which is apparently pretty rare. By the time i found this out the old guy running the place was just about to enjoy his pension.
I’d try it. Where can you get horse and donkey meat. When you order donkey at a restaurant is it ok to tell the server you want a piece of ass?
