If you have kids, don't work for someone who doesn't have kids.

Couldn't agree more.
My wife is dealing with this. Small company and none of the management have kids, and don't understand things like "bedtime" and "my kids want to see me more than a couple hours a week." It's an uphill battle and is a big reason she's looking for a new job.
