Ventured out on my bike this morning to check out a new cafe. Underwhelmed with the cafe, I took my tea "to go" and headed to the beach.

It was really windy and the waves were pretty big.

Biking home, the wind was in my face and my pace was slow. In the diatance, i saw a pirate disappear down a side street.

Seeking a diversion from pedaling in the wind, I took a detour to see where the pirate was heading.

Ended up at a pirate festival!!!

This was the excuse i needed to take a break, grab a taco and rehydrate.
