Psychologist here...

Usually, heavy anxiety comes from childhood trauma - big traumas or small traumas.

Your mind keeps subtly playing back those traumas in various ways. One way is negative self-talk and/or self-loathing. This process can keep you in low level fear states.

Mediation practices can be done with mediation and breathing techniques to calm the low lever fear state as mentioned in the comments.

However, long term integration of the trauma, really needs to happen in a safe environment where a person can sit and listen to you and feel with you as you process the vulnerability of the trauma. This takes time and consistency.

I got anxiety after I got COVID in the post recuperation I went to the bakery and I suddenly felt like I couldn't breath and I got a small trauma after that...

I dealed with not being able to go outside alone and I overcomed it but I still feel anxious frecuently even knowing that I have a normal active life now, i went to some psico therapist and they helped me to overcome it, right now I can go outside alone , I live my life normally BUT that doesn't mean that I don't feel anxious almost everyday, I just don't let it win over me

It is great to read that you got the help you needed and are doing better. Good job taking care of yourself.

I can "control it" now BUT does it ever disappear?

For some it may never fully go away, for others can vanish. I have seen with others if they face it and take their time with it as it comes it will teach them something about themselves in which they can grow to be a stronger person.

Thanks you
