Stood right at center stage when they played Dallas show with Doug Pinnick belting out Over My Head literally right over my head.
Seen 'em live twice. Once in Dallas and once in Lubbock when I was in college. The Lubbock show was too good.
Friend of mine was hammered and wrote a note on a bar napkin to give to Doug Pinnik. He gave the napkin to Doug during a break between songs and Doug read it, backed away and made a 'no' motion with his hands. Buddy brings me the napkin and asks "what's wrong with it? I just asked for a his pick."
I read it and said, "dude, it says "Can I have your dick".
Fun times.
Lesson: don't write shit when you're hammered af.
No kidding. I bet they get stuff like that all the time.
They were so underrated back then.
