Scientists found that if you damage the inside of your nose (like from digging around too much), certain bacteria can sneak into your brain.

Once they’re in there, they cause changes that look a lot like Alzheimer’s disease (a condition that affects memory and thinking).

Basically, your nose is like a “No Entry” zone for germs, and nose-picking opens the door wide.

Plucking nose hairs? That’s like giving germs a VIP pass straight to your brain.

So, unless you want to give bacteria a free ride, maybe leave your nose alone.

GM Nostr. Here is a great example of how to build community. Yesterday upon returning home from running errands I spotted three domestic turkeys in my yard. I’m not raising turkeys right now. I posted on all the traditional social media sites looking for the person who lost them. It was nearing dark when a neighbor who raises turkeys offered to house them until the owner steps forward to claim them. We chased them down and secured them safely in an enclosure to keep them safe from predators.

I have to admit that my first instinct was “turkey dinner” but someone has a lot of time and energy invested in these turkeys. I feel like it would have been steeling if I didn’t look for the rightful owners first.
