GM,my friends! How are you doing today?

I’ve got a question for you: Are you a red or white wine person?

I used to love red wine but after trying white wine from a winery in Niagara on the lake -Ontario,I changed preferences completely.

What are your favourite types of wine? Tell me below! 👇🏻

Ps. I started my day with coffee not wine ok? This is just a random note 😂 Not an alcoholic confession. 😆

Wow, AI is getting good

GM, 🫂🌞

usually red, but in summer I can enjoy a chilled white 😎

Almost never before lunch though 😂

Do you get wine on your circuit boards?

My go to is red when it comes to wine 🍷 ❤️

GM☕👌

First Coffee ☕👌

I think both are not an alcoholic recommendation 😂😂😂

Good morning beautiful!

I agree that the right white wine can beat out a glass of red.

But my go to tends to be prosecco 🥂

Gm 🍷🍷

ill drink reds or whites, im not really a wine snob.

George Killians Irish Red

haha. i haven't had killian's in a very long time.

That shit is hard to find. Wanted one for New Year’s, had to buy a case from a distributor 😝

I'm a Pinot noir gal through and through....BUT...San Sebastian Winery down in St. Augustine, FL makes an amazing vitners white!!!

i like a good pinot noir. i like all styles of wines, except for the crazy fruity sweet trend that is just bad. these things taste good and 'fun' in a small taster, but i would never order a glass or even a bottle of this stuff. it's way too sweet. i want wine tasting wine. not orange blueberry honey mango with a hint of lemon "wine".

I totally agree ... I hate sweet wine. The vitners white is a teeny tiny bit sweet, but not too much 🍷

Goodmorning i am a white wine guy if it comes to drinking but red wine if paired with food

Depends on what I’m eating, I like both, but I avoid very sweet wine usually.

Red, but depends on the food also

Same as every day. I don't have good mornings because I still don't know if Digit is safe. And I don't know or care about wine differences

Forever red.

I od-ed on white (and other substances) once, and can't drink it anymore.

Body stored the memory, and is not going there ever again...

Good morning. I’m a red wine, Cabernet Sauvignon kind of guy. 🍷

Morning! I'm still trying to shake my morning grogginess. You?

Lol I don't drink wine or coffee, but if you want beer of whiskey suggestions, I'd be glad to help😁.

Also, I'm sure you've heard...

Also, your picture just loaded🤷. You have a lovely smile😁.

Niagara on the Lake is fun 🤩 Did you try the Ice Wine? It's a sweet dessert wine.

Both. I like more spicy red wine and fruity white wine.

Red...Red blends, Cabs, Merlots

Pinot Noir for the win

Rosé

Irish whiskey, or Bourbon

Did you go to inniskillin? I don’t drink ice wine regularly but on occasion it’s a nice treat! (Mostly a red wine lover)

Red.

I'm definitely a white wine fan. I like the sweet, fruity taste better. I'm not a fan of dry wines.

It’s all about the pairing if you ask me. A bad pairing would make a good wine taste bad.

Also, the hour of the day. I like white wine during daylight hours, but prefer red in the evening.

That’s true. And then it’s about if you’re drinking before a meal or after. You got aperitif wine and digestif wine.

And champagne breakfast. 😁

Now you’re speaking my language 🥂

Also apertif and digestif liqueurs 👀

I’ll be saving a Taittinger bottle if you ever come to our side of the ocean!

Definitely Red Wine. My favorite, Cabernet Franc 🍷🥂

Seeing your face always makes me happy. Thanks for sharing the picture! ☺️

It depends on what I'm eating

Personally love all wine… Favorites at the moment (always changing).

Red: Sonoma coast Syrah, Areni from Armenia, Nebbiolo from Barolo, Frappato from Sicily and Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon.

Whites: Sparkling from Sonoma coast and Mendocino coast, Chardonnay from Oregon and South Africa.

I tend to prefer red wine. Malbecs or syrahs come to mind as easy favorites.

However, my wife and I have been trying to learn about wine and wine/food pairings better so as to gain a greater appreciation for it.

Forgot to mention two super underrated whites wines; White Port chilled which is a game changer especially anything over 10yrs & GRÜNER VELTLINER from Austria.

Really depends on the mood and the meal that I'm pairing the wine with.

Italian reds are typically my go-to. White wine and rosé is great on a hot day, or if I'm eating a lighter meal.

Why choose? :)

It depends on the meal, the climate, and of course the wine available (or the area where you are).

In any case, if I have to make a summary assessment:

White: Italian classic method or unfiltered wines

Red: from Piedmont (IT) or pinot noir, also Italian, but vinified the French way.

I started on red wine as a teenager and the health benefits kept me on it as an adult. I'm not going to remove the I.V. now.

But seriously, I don't mind a dry white now and then. Or even a dessert wine. But for some reason I've never really enjoyed regular white wine (e.g. sauv blanc) unless I'm cooking with it.

Red wine person here!

Can’t stand white wines at all, but I do enjoy Champagne and I mean proper Champagne not the Prosecco ones!

I definitely used to be a red wine person but I don't drink any more

It's harder to make good white wine.

That is why I prefer red wine.

It really comes down to the experience when you drink the wine. The setting, the people, the mood, that ambiance that we try to recreate each time we pick the same type of wine.
