Yo, #costarica plebs, best tips for a family of 5 doing a trial trip to #uvita to see whether we can live there? Where to stay for a few weeks? Thanks 🧡

My family of four spent a week there back in January. We had the best time. We stayed here https://air.tl/ZVDFV7Kf
Looks lovely
Hola! You'll have to check out the whole area Dominical - Playa Hermosa - Uvita - Ojochal - Tinamaste
Personally lived in the lagunas in dominical - rad.
I like playa hermosa for sunsets, so it's nice living close to that as well.
Uvita is convenient.
Ojochal is too far from the waves i like, but it has a cool community of expats and some bitcoin friendly places.
Tinamaste is pretty hippy, but beautfiul up there. Will be quite wet in the rainy season in all spots. Usually sunny in the mornings during rainy season though June- Mid november ish. October is the heaviest.
Tons of cool places to live in the hills with awesome views, but I don't have specific recommenedations or homie hookups (yet).
Thank you! Great start…
Pack ultra light. Like everything on your back. Looking after your belongings here can be hard. Best to bring almost nothing. We are on a one week trip here, but getting from one city to another has been very daunting with extra baggage.
Enjoy!!! We are here right now and loving it. My best tip is bring a cooler bag if you can, there's so many great markets with meat, fish, & dairy out here and then you don't have to worry about racing back to put things in the fridge.
