Got another slow day in the loan mine coming. Both hubs & I have dr appts today so there will be a little breakup in the day.
Boss told me yesterday that she’s finally putting me in for a promotion that I earned 3 years ago, but it won’t come through until next year, and that’s only if I’m a good girl between here & there. Decided to spend more time working in the homestead as a result. At least that work is for me & I benefit no matter who approves.

I never do, but for some reason I occasionally prioritize that paycheck over my infrastructure and I don’t know why I make such a bad choice
Guilty of that myself on occasion. Just take each day as an opportunity to do it how you want.

Yep - as of March of 2026 I’ll be in the exact same job but I’ll be designated as a IV instead of a III.
How infuriating. Sounds like a bribe to keep you from shedding their shackles. I just recently left a job and didn't get the harvest bonus. Apparently bonuses are not for work performed but are just an enticement to put up with future misery. Good riddance to them.
lol. I would if it wasn’t a fantastic job. I work from home, 4 weeks vaca, 2 weeks sick, pension, benefits, 401k. I really like the work too. Only thing that sucks is the advancement opportunities
