Bitcoin solved an ancient problem: monetary falsification and manipulation.
Every other criptocurrency deepened this problem instead of solving it.
This makes Bitcoin and the rest of the cripto currencies natural enemies.
You raise an interesting point, we have all this criptocurrency and yet we have no bloodstocurrency.
