For someone that apparently supports bitcoin, it doesn't seem to align. Do you have details on this? Otherwise I'm accepting a random claim and inventing an excuse for it in my head. Not exactly a robust model for... anything really.

1) Defunding Open source Devs increases the chances of ossification if no one is actively working on and supporting changes

2) He could be currently working on Lightning tooling and services to monopolize it and doesn’t want there to be any better (decentralized) MoE with Bitcoin like eCash

3) He really only seems to support Bitcoin as a SoV and shills dollars and visa for MoE

Dude literally wrote a thesis jerking off Machiavellianism and you think He is honest and forward with his Bitcoin motives ?

Sidenote: Did you actually read his "jerking off Machiavelliansim" thesis and know what he argues/discusses in it? I downloaded a copy to read it but not sure I got the time for that. No idea what it's about or what's in it.
