quick question: was nsec a challenge to implement?
long story: I mostly was gonna peep how you did it to try to add it to damus for sideloading (in my unaffiliated build sideus). Would love to see a official .ipa with zaps from nostur, but if it’s made open source and you don’t, I’ll mostly like do a sideus for that too.
yes mostly the bech32 part was a pain point, I couldn't existing libs that just worked and the internal details of bech32 are beyond my understanding, had to hack something together from other Swift projects that used it also
oh sorry I typed nsec and meant nsec bunker 😂
oh lol, no that part was easy 😄 but the code I have now works well for the happy paths, it still needs work for failures, timeouts etc. I will have it up soon
Sideus is a damus build for altstore, but people just have to trust me that I’m not stealing their nsec currently. nsecbunker would fix that.
would love to see an official alt release of nostur, the altstore discord mod gave iSH as an example of an apple that distributes both App Store and a .ipa download on their site and git. I appreciate why after having the magnifying glass pointed at ya and told no on zaps why a dev might choose not to do this themselves tho.
