what was the reason?

He covered it on his show tonight. TikTok said he violated their terms of service, Integrity and Authenticity, for a video from last December that was critical of Zelensky and another from June on the CIA’s involvement in the Brazilian election. There were no recent strikes, just a sudden, vague, permanent ban this week. Appeals and inquires were not answered.

Conclusion: TikTok is becoming a weapon of the *US security state* and isn’t quite the Chinese weapon that its made out to be. If China wanted to hurt the US (security state), Glenn’s videos would be left up. The banning of Bin Laden’s letter to America is further evidence.

interesting. i find greenwald to be a very intelligent dude. not sure if i agree with what he says sometimes, but he’s definitely a great journalist. him, lee fang, matt taibbi, isaac saul. maybe bari weiss. that’s pretty much all i can name off the top of my head.

It’s a very short list left now. Not familiar with Isaac yet. Bari Weiss finally showed her true colors, which Glenn covered thoroughly. She made her career decrying censorship by big tech, media, universities etc during the woke hysteria. Except now, she’s pro censorship of anti-Israel views. She only believes in free speech when it’s convenient for her. Many such cases.

yes i’ve been more than a little disappointed in her over the past few weeks. isaac is more of a moderate journalist who does his best to present fair and balanced arguments from either side of the US political divide. he’s not quite in the same camp as the others, but i do appreciate the work he’s doing.
