The dev should explain it more. Would not use and forward somehting to my friends where I am not able to explain just the basic things.

What would make sense to you to be better explained? The idea is that people don‘t necessarily should know or care about nostr, it should just be an useful application to organize an event and check who will be coming. Use > technology.
privacy, functions (comments? alternate time proposals? workflow, how to use it with multiplte people?) if it's public, what makes it different to others, eg. https://doodle.com ?
