I really liked nostr:npub1sn0wdenkukak0d9dfczzeacvhkrgz92ak56egt7vdgzn8pv2wfqqhrjdv9 ‘s take on the political conference.

When we first saw the line up, a lot of us were automatically team boycott.

He used the shitshow itself as a platform to call out the shitshow and in doing so was able to explain why this is a problem, what this problem could look like down the road and potential solutions (for the individual, corporations, and even heads of state).

Some shitty people are gonna talk about Bitcoin for the wrong reason..Instead of avoiding the conversation entirely, we can use Snowden as an example of using the conversation itself to redirect the message towards reality.

i expect we may see Ron Paul play this angle soon too

🤷‍♀️

it's ron's whole MO

Sorry I just wasn’t sure if he was still alive 😂

ikr - he's getting a bit doddery but definitely not ready for the glue factory

his son is bringin it tho

Fuck yeah, I will check him out and see what he’s up to

But yes

More and more normies are getting used to the word being legitimized by their talking heads.

Orange pilling is going to change. We aren’t telling people about Bitcoin anymore, we are now steering away from Bitcoin misinformation they were fed or it being incorrectly clumped together in the more general “crypto” category.

What would be the optimal orange pilling to counterstrike that?

I wouldn’t be the expert on this, but kind of meeting people where they are and identifying common pain points/misinformation and clearing it up.

Like a lot of “normies” getting into Bitcoin really need information on self-custody and why it’s essential
