What would make a Nostr client more interesting?

What part do you want to customize?
To change background, to change color and font of letters, to make folders of notes. To have image galleries and decide the order they appear. To have a song playing on the profle, myspace style.....
Can do a lot of this on https://jumblekat.com/ already

I want to change my profile style and that everybody sees it like that, not to change the style of the client all together. But still Jumblekat looks amazing!

They run their own centralised relays.
What we need is a local relay that stores events in the background so you can check it first for instant response
have you tried damus android or notedeck? Thats how it works. except it only reads from the local relay, remote notes are just fetched and dumped into it
I've got notedeck on my Mac and I was among your early beta testers for Damus on Android, but I didn't contribute much feedback, so guilt prevents me having a strong opinion on this 😂

The option to read relays notes like Fevela is doing.
I do not want to see bullshit like "read top trending notes" like Primal is pushing by default, or following.
I consider NOSTR more like a school / town board, where people hang their papers with notes, announcements, invitations, classifieds etc.
If I like a note, I can take it and hang it (post) on another board (relay).
I do not want to see (like on twatter) what followers are posting, I want to see what is going on / posted on a specific relay.
Each relay should be like a topic or region or newspaper.
People get it wrong the whole nostr thing and just copied twatter... let's do it better.

Aside from that:
A game where communication within it also involves communication with someone on a Nostr site/app, like Jumble.
Multiple home feeds curated by the user (I don't know If Nostr already does this).
Like, "curate new feed" option. I click It, name the feed, and every new follow I make I can choose to which feed It Will Go. This way I can create "Bitcoin only" feed, "South American nostriches" feed, "Spirituality and well being" feed...for example, all curated by myself. And choose which feed I Will scroll.
