Monero is the push. If Bitcoiners cared they would allocate 1% to it for spending.
Monero trades at 0.2% despite having less supply and the same inflation.
So we can conclude that >99% of Bitcoiners don't give a fuck about privacy. Compared to the genetal public you'd expect Bitcoiners to be more aware of the downsides of a digital panopticum.
But at least the general public is aware of the ptivacy benefits of cash. Banks, governments and other surveillance companies did a great job selling little convenience at the cost of losing control and privacy.
