Any courtesy/chivaly shown to these women is always thrown in your face.

Yeah, I don't get this mentality, at all. We're supposed to make an effort to be gracious and polite to the people we _don't_ like.
We all regularly fail at it, but the fact that it's hard is the reason we should do it. It's good for us, to do hard things.
