As someone from Brazil, I'm not optimistic with BRICS. US has a way bigger leverage to enforce dollar supremacy for decades ahead, despite of it's decay. And believe me, the US dollar is unfair, but BRICS members currencies are waaay worse. Their not plotting for freedom, they just want to mimic US dollar dominance an make the whole "global south" the next Venezuela to ensure they stay in power.
