US dollar sistem doesn't come for free. Its really bad, but BRICS has something much worse in case they succeed.
As someone from Brazil, I'm not optimistic with BRICS. US has a way bigger leverage to enforce dollar supremacy for decades ahead, despite of it's decay. And believe me, the US dollar is unfair, but BRICS members currencies are waaay worse. Their not plotting for freedom, they just want to mimic US dollar dominance an make the whole "global south" the next Venezuela to ensure they stay in power.
Can't help but to get discouraged by the rapid loss of our freedom. Just got know that Google is removing sideloading from Android phones. What are the implications for Nostr in countries like Brazil, or even US and Europe if the government goes after it? What about using Bitcoin and stablecoins daily, I've seen people get discouraged to use Bitcoin for way less than legal restrictions. I feel the notion of "unstoppable code", sorry for the infamous reference, is getting challenged to say the least.
