Make a decision - either you want government intervention or don't. Taxes don't even play into it because you're not paying taxes as an insurance of natural disasters.

This level of complaining we saw about a month ago in the North Carolina areas.

And yes, Madrid is fucking the Catalonian coast and down south, but that's a tribal problem because they are just abusing you.

Governemnt first responders are clearly not good solution for problem. So why pay them? Just return money so people can find private options which can do work.

50% of tax income is insane. Companies don't even get charged that, if that's personal income, then companies would be like 65 - 70%? does that make sense?

IVA is 21% the last I was there, maybe higher now given inflationary pressure.

"Government first responders are clearly not good solution for problem." - If you seriously consider this, then you may need to review your countries own first responders and see if private responders are better serving. If that is a case, then it's a refection of poor governance rather than the first responders. Being a European country, and part of the EU, one wouldn't think they have third world governments all of a sudden?

Its % of personal income, but with all kind of taxes combined.

So income tax, VAT, fuel, alcohol,… taxes, property tax, TV tax and because in czech republic si social security insurence and health insurence are insurence only by name but it has properties of tax i also count them as tax…

Because its all of this combined i can't tell how much it is because it's sligthly different for every person.

Corporations taxations are lower because corporation in many cases can run to another country. People are tax slaves.

EU is socialistic hell.Too much regulation, too much taxes.

It's garden only if you want grow comunism.

I see no contradiction between anarchist memes and these complaints.

The complaints - coming from statist and non-statists alike - will peak in times that it's really obvious where the money is going (and where it's not going) and when need is high. Especially if the state is actually interfering with help from others who are volunteering their time.

Taxes do play into it in places with agenices or funds for dealing with natural disaster.
