Crocheting makes me think of my grandma. When I would go visit her she would always be sitting on the couch with a crochet blanket on her lap that she had made. She liked to crochet many different things. I didn’t appreciate it much when I was young but when I got older I realized how talented she was. She asked me shortly before she passed if I’d like her to make me something. I told her a scarf would be great. I figured that would be easier for her to make than something big like a blanket. Unfortunately she didn’t have a chance to make it. But seeing people making crocheted things puts a smile on my face because it reminds me of her.
