This is a first for me, a Nostr app which has migrated off of Nostr to a newer protocol, willow.

Willow is one of the most interesting emerging protocols, this is the first time i’ve seen a willow app in the wild.

No update in the last 2 years?
I think they are not updated within the Nostr ecosystem, also they seem to be not very active and lacking in collaborators, just have a look at Earthstar GH. Last but not least, they are funded by the European Union.
That last one is a HUUUUGE nope.

But it makes sense, because no one is supposed to make "an app on top of Nostr", but "a Nostr client". When people say "on top of Nostr" I immediately think they have decided to abuse relays for passing messages for a proprietary network in a fake p2p network or something like that, and that's not how Nostr was supposed to work and such approaches will not scale or last.
