Great questions.

1) I don't care at all about cholesterol numbers, because I learned cholesterol is good for you. The sugar industry has been advertising this bogus marker as the boogeyman for decades to deflect the heat they were getting from being the REAL reason people were all getting heart disease.

2) The narrative that fiber is good for us, let alone that we NEED it, is one of the biggest diet scams out there. It's literally sawdust - just bulk that humans cannot absorb ANY nutrients from. It has given millions of people IBS, Crohn's, and other digestive problems though, as it is completely indigestible, and rips your GI tract apart from the inside!

TL;DR: Cholesterol is GOOD for us and we should consume lots of it. Fiber is BAD for us and we should consume none of it.

Yes, this is the complete opposite of what we've all been told our whole lives. The guidelines are dead-ass backwards, and this is precisely why the whole world is sick right now.

💯

The thing people need to understand about cholesterol, IMO, is that every cell in your body is capable of manufacturing it. Cholesterol forms the lipid layer around the cell. It’s the cell’s skin.

The idea that dietary cholesterol has a significant/direct impact on serum cholesterol is silly, yet here we are.
