What's funny is don't all these use The lightning network but claim the lightning network doesn't work. I'm confused. This is why I stopped paying a lot of mind to this stuff.
And ignore it.
Bitcoin is a technology first, currency second, and commodity third.
The cool thing about Bitcoin is that it's permissionless, if people want to build Web 3 or whatever, by all means they should do so.
But it's heavily under optimized for that unless the protocol itself changes.
Citrea, Ark, etc. are good because they force Bitcoin to innovate, otherwise those projects will fail on top of Bitcoin.
Obviously, most things shouldn't be built on top of Bitcoin, in my opinion the Bitcoin technology is more optimized for transmission of value rather than Monkey Picture Smart Contracts, etc.
But who knows time will tell where all these projects go.
The problem is Bitcoin #BTC needs the kyc'ed, custodial, centralized products on top (instead) of Bitcoin because BTC is HORRIBLE technology.
Bitcoin is the brother who thought doing heroin would make him cool. Bitcoin Cash stayed sober and stayed in school. Now it IS doing everything people expect from BTC, the college aged loser hanging out with HS freshmen.
