yeah the emoji responses do kinda create clutter. #[3] had also mentioned creating a new kind for reactions, which I kinda like. will have to think about it.
Discussion
likes and reactions are kind 6 unofficially atm. content = emoji reaction or empty for like.
👍
Is there a place where those unofficial conventions are discussed and documented? It would be nice to have a NIP or at least an issue [here](https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/issues).
If someone wants to create a NIP that would be great. I haven't got around to it yet.
This is what I'm seeing for a kind 6. Content is an entire event.

Does this make sense? If so, now do I interpret it?
this looks like it should exceed event size limits or am I the only one seeing a wall of text?
Is there an event size limit? I've put out some pretty big events.
Not sure how that works exactly but I have observed even rejection by relays due to size and astral shows a counter of "chars left".
If relays typically have some limit, it would probably be good to know that limit or even better to agree on some sane limit for the chat use here
Yes, it would be good to know. I haven't seen any limit in the documentation. I'm presuming that there is no limit.
Indeed, I'm hoping that there is no limit, because I would love to write some fairly long articles.
If you query kind6 for #[4] you will see a like 👍
