Good night nostr, i got done with the cabin turnover, then just got caught up on some stuff. I'm dipping my toes into my new start9, and i feel like i have alot of learning to do. Those of you who run a btc node on start9, i think you would use a dedicated laptop for this? Also, if i lost power, is it easy to restart the server and the node? Anyway, lots for me to learn, but i'll tackle it a little bit at a time. Yall have a good evening nostr friends. #grownostr #bnbstr #start9 #asknostr

You can access it via any PC on your network or Tor. You should do the CA stuff that it suggests. Get a big ol' UPS for it and if it still dies, it'll generally just fire back up and update the chain. Pick a PC on your network and use that for network backups. DO THE BACKUPS.

Ok, good advice thanks. I did do the ca on my main driver, just had issues with a couple browsers. But i figured out which browsers worked, so thats what i'll use. Thanks!

Restarts arenโ€™t too bad! Your Start9 OS should start the bitcoin core instance on boot and after some time, youโ€™ll be good to go :). I lose power often and it always comes back without issue. It sometimes does take a few hours to get all synced up.

Thanks for your feedback, i still have lots of research to do.

If you have any questions or need assistance troubleshooting, feel free to reach out! Iโ€™d be happy to help.

Thanks for that! I might hit you up๐Ÿ˜Š
