driving home with my son yesterday after jiu jistsu, we go past a line of people into a house.

He asks:

“why are those people all lined up like that?”

I explained they’re looking for a house to rent and that not everyone owns a house, and many or perhaps most dont and just pay each month to use a house someone else owns.

He replied confused…

“So they’re all homeless?”
