Was having trouble downloading several hours ago. Watching videos was fine though. Interesting that the post doesn’t mention downloading problems. Was using VPN so that may explain it 🤷♂️

I was still having trouble. Tried uninstall and reinstall. Then couldn’t even watch videos. Then went to fdroid and downloaded a bunch of options. Got libre tube (well it was libre something) to finally work for watching and downloads.
Installed earlier NewPipe updated also
