I love eating microgreens, but I feel like I would struggle to grow them because I would feel like I was preventing the plant from reaching its full potential, lol. Like, these few leaves could have been a whole head of broccoli! You know? How do you think about that and make them cost effective?

Good question and I understand the sentiment. But, it takes a lot of work, time, risk and proper seasonality to get that head of broccoli. Also, seed is the smallest cost in microgreens production and is produced specifically for sprouting and microgreens. The benefits greatly outweigh the cost. I recommend folks start by growing broccoli sprouts, no soil or trays needed. Always organic seed. #grownostr
