Hey nostr, its the end of the day again and I'm wondering where the day went. I was preparing to start on planting my trees this afternoon, but we had some friends stop by unexpectedly, so I didnt get that done. The couple that visited are great folks that we met at a freedom event a couple years ago. We visit each other's place every now and then, and we always have a great time.

I did pick a bunch of peppers today. The leaves on the plants wilted a bit due to the cold, so I went ahead and picked all the peppers I could. While I was outside I saw this butterfly on my turks cap, and I guess it was trying to warm up in the sun, because it didnt move the whole time I was there.

On our way home with our half beef. I requested the organ meats, the bones, the fat, all of it. I want to try making my own tallow with the fat, so we can use it for cooking. The dogs will get some of the bones, plus I can make broth with them. #grownostr #localbeef #countrylife #foodstr #homesteading

Good morning nostriches! Riding high this a.m. 😁 There's just something about hitting the trails at sunrise on a Wednesday to bust out some hill repeats that makes you feel like a badass and gets the day off to a good start. 😁 I highly recommend it! Wishing you all a beautiful day!

Where is that?

I thought Mt Washington was part of that range...but maybe not? The White Mountains are in New Hampshire. There could be more than one Mt Washington. 🤷‍♀️
