Isn't it lovely?! I've had this one since 2019. One of my few houseplants with a name, Paprika plant, after my cat who chewed the new baby leaves while it was recovering from a NDE. And, it has called 6 different houses its home 😊

Here’s my 5yr old baby, aptly named “Phil”. He’s produced two littles, one of which is getting to be nearly as big as him already! They grow so fast, such cool plants. 🌱
I had one I got from a neighbor and eventually gifted it to a friend it was 30 years old at the time. It’s name was big daddy 😂
My mom has one at least as old as I am! I remember it all throughout my childhood. It ‘died’ once in a freak southern freeze, got thrown out in the woods and a few weeks later sprouted new leaves. Brought it back in, repotted, and it’s still kicking... Going on 40+ years at least 💪
