It's a pilot CBDC in Brazil? This will probably end like it did in Nigeria, the people rejected the cbdc and demanded more btc.
It's so weird that they use all these fancy "crypto" terms, like
- blockchain
- smart contract
- swap
- mint
- burn
- node
- offchain
And yet the thing is just a new banking API with more dystopian features.

Bem, não estudando o assunto a fundo mas parece que vai ser um PoA (proof of authority) em que para ser um validador você deve antes ser aprovado previamente por outros validadores (não é permissionless, obviamente).
E se for pra chutar (dado que tudo ainda está no projeto piloto) mesmo entre os validadores provavelmente algum terá "privilégios exorbitantes". Na hora H, o sistema jamais irá querer abrir mão do poder. 🫠
