Is this a state sponsored channel?

You might be on to something 😉

The first paid propaganda on Nostr. It is a milestone of some sort

😂

Nostr New Network summarised. Trump State good, Biden state bad.

I don't have a skin in this horse, the USA can do whatever the fuck it likes but this may as well be Fox or CNN posting.

Did no one tell him, it is rude to wear a hat indoors?

That's the least of his problems 😂

I was just about to comment about him wearing a hat indoors

Is it? I wear a hat indoors practically everywhere

If you enter a friends house, store or work. No one cares. If you enter a respected place, like your parents house, a place of worship, higher business, government... etc. You remove your cover. Women are exempt from having to remove their headware.

It's considered rude, and disrespectful, to not present your face when entering someone's home, in the West. Other cultures may have other rules, or no rules, et al.

Reminds me of The Five Monkeys Experiment, where 5 monkeys are placed in a cage with a ladder to a bunch of bananas hanging from the ceiling. Every time a monkey tries to climb the ladder the entire group is sprayed with water. The group then tries to stop any future attempts to climb the ladder. The banana bunch is removed. Monkeys are removed one by one, after each new monkey tries to climb the ladder. Eventually all monkeys are new, none know about the water, but if any one tries to climb the ladder the group beats it into submission.

In the end none know why.

That’s how I feel with cultural norms such as this one. It serves to please and remain loyal to our ancestors who lived in farms and whose hats came dirty from the elements but that’s far from the case today. These people are not even with us today but live freely in our brains to tell us how and when we should wear hats.

We may not work in fields, as much, but we still work in filthy factory's and warehouses, buildings that contain work place toxins. However, removing your cover is more about exposing your face, or humbling yourself. Like why we shake hands, as a greeting. Originally, it was to present your weapon hand was empty. Or why we wave from a distance. Presenting 5 digits, instead of six (some superstitious about the annunaki, who were monsters who ate people).

I don't agree that we should throw away traditions. We should revisit them, keep the ones that continue to benefit us, and archive but still learn the ones that don't. Never throw away. That'd be removing bricks from the house you live in

Exactly. There’s no logical reason why hats must come off. Show face … what.. what century are we in? Let dumb ideas burn in dumpster fires.

I’ve never been one to follow rules 🤷‍♂️

But you do. You look both ways when crossing a street. When you write, your following the rules English sentence structure. You unzip your pants before taking a piss. You dont walk around randomly murdering. You pay for things in stores. You stack sats.

We all follow rules. We all follow traditions. And that's ok. We also can pick and choose which of the rules and traditions we follow less. And that's ok, too.

I choose not to follow hat rules.

"Hello police? I would like to report something"

in brazil it's rude to wear a hat while having meals (even outdoors), otherwise it's fine.

Each culture with their own hat fetish!

US Gov fattened up while it had the lead, it’s time to lose it before other countries catch up!

I gather from your response that you didn't read the article

I actually did read some of it. But my comment was not about the article, which focused on how the people did not ask for the changes he is making and how that’s being disruptive.

The US Gov is fraught with fraud and pathetic at managing tax-payer money so bad that the US economy is at peril (and much of the world by distribute). It needs much more than a skin fade, so despite the fact people did not ask for it, it must be done.

It is my firm belief that the way they handling it is gonna make things only worse

Time will tell… but it’s healthy to remain skeptical.

Yes. We did.

"hErEs wHaT sOmE oThEr pEoPLe sAy aBouT iT!"

I don't care.

Your stance have been covered in the article. But you're a minority in this case

🤣

The people thought they were voting for government reform in 2008, when they were promised "change".

"Campaigning is different than governing" - Barack Obama
