If you use black color for font is better
Hello #nostr
I just created a Telegram alpha channel, I will be posting updates on #Bitcoin and necessary informations.
THERE’S NO SECOND BEST
#BITCOIN
The supply doesn't halve every 4 years, just the newly generated coin rate. There's probably a good word for it, but it won't come to mind right now
The language used is not suitable for noobs. Simplify each one even more so for an audience that doesn’t know the significance of each of those.
Say that it is money.
Nice work Mike. FWIW I think the content of your slide is more to do with the underlying properties.
Can't remember where this came from but I like this: "Bitcoin is the first, free open-source, protocol enabling the transfer of data and value over the internet without intermediaries."
New bitcoin are not mined; they are rewarded to the entity that constructed the new block which happens every~10 minutes (~144 times per day). The reward is halved every 210,000 blocks (~4 years). Block constructors, known as miners or mining pools, are incentivized to include transactions with the highest fees and this reduce the chance that a transaction would be censored.
With the emergence of so many 'coins' I find it would be helpful for a succinct bullet on why Bitcoin is different and the 'Gold Standard'. Given that the audience is for newbies, it is a helpful grounding point in a sea of crypto confusion and would help support hesitation around being rug pulled when the goal is financial freedom.
Good point.
I’ve experienced 3 orange pill candidates turn to the dark side on me.
Bottom line (if it's not plugged into the overall mission) is financial security. Maybe you use a little alt coin for quick gains with an intent to secure more quality long-term with Bitcoin. Everyone seems to be shouting that their way is the best way and that doesn't sit well with my gut. I prefer seeing multiple angles. Overall, I value Bitcoin a great deal over many options.
Your recording is making me curious if I’d sound that cool if I recorded my voice on Elevan Labs. I’m stuck with an American accent though, so… 🤷♂️
I haven't got to recording my voice for it to copy yet, that's just a stock voice.
I haven't tried it, but I'm sure there are options to change your accent once you've got it to emulate your voice.
And here I thought you sounded like David Attenborough
