Had to use leg as a tire brake coming down a hill.

Donโ€™t ask.

Ouch! What happened?

Mf'r! I TOLD you not to ask.

I'm a flatlander from West Texas now living in the Palouse hills of Eastern Washington State with a new, untuned, bike.

Brakes weren't set tight enough by a long shot.

Better spray some chlorine dioxide on that bro.

Ouch.

I didnโ€™t know that it could be used as an ebrake thanks for enlightening me

Poor bike handling skills. What can I say๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Yeah, it was a pretty stupid play on my part for sure. Didn't have my brakes set up properly and was coming down a hill. Hilarity ensued.

Ouch, looks painful. Get well soon!

Ouch, don't forget the comfrey ๐Ÿ˜‰

I would do something like this exactly when I don't have any comfrey.

Gah, if only there was someone selling some on nostr ๐Ÿ˜. Plantain, calendula and camomile are also vulneraries too, just not as fast healing as comfrey....

I think you are starting to get this marketing thing after all ๐Ÿ˜„

Geez!! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Howโ€™s the bike? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oh, it's fine. Didn't even fall over.

Outch... but as good old Nietzsche said: "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger"

The major thoroughfare cross traffic at the red light I was plunging toward was a great incentive to discard pain.

Had a similar experience once when trying no brakes fixed gear, and I had to shove my shoe between the fork and front tire. Iโ€™m imagining what that would have been like had I not had shoes ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

It beats broken ribs or a brain injury. I donโ€™t need to know the story: you made the correct call.

Doxxed your leg! I always thought you were a black guy
