One way money is used is as a simple way to determine status in society. More money = generally higher status

What are other forms of capital that primarily reflect status?

Hoping for some good discussion here 🤞🏻

GM my friends what’s on your mind this morning?

As a Harvard underGrad, Princeton Post & Yale Law Review person I don’t really understand the question.

That could be a fair answer is that money in whatever form serves that purpose well enough it doesn’t take other forms but I think mentioning your education establishes that as a form of capital that could be considered because people certainly posture based on institutional experience. Does that make any more sense? Regardless whatever else is on the list is pretty weak capital compared to money and our obsession with determining status is great thus our conversations revolve around money often.

Did you literally just turn into ChatGPT? wtf dude.

Lighten up Francis.

I’m bored ok and my wife isn’t here so it’s not like I have tits to play with instead.

Nope. Don’t disparage the wife. Whores, fine.

Not the wife. Be better. You’re fucking up all over the place today.

Pretty standard

Don't know if it's considered as capital but lineage/union. Kings and Queens were made by marriage and by being born in the "right" family. Few times in history where non royalty were richer than kings. Think of France pre revolution for example. So in a sense. Lineage+union > money for determining status
