The everyday person is failing to grok the scale of change we're living in. We see it in Bitcoin - think of how hard it's to relate to others knowing what's being built by our industry - from banking + payments, to nostr, to a reimaginging of the energy system

The same is happening in AI (👇🏼 all these developments are blowing my mind). The world kids grow up in 20 years from now will be vastly different, just like the internet changed the game ( #[0], your book/thinking was very prescient)

I'm at the same time disturbed by the growing suppression & censorship by private companies, which is only being matched by increased attempts by governments to control their citizens though tech & money (CBDCs anyone? Bitcoin bans, mining bans, ChatGPT bans...)

What a dark world being constructed in parallel to freedom enabling tech: from free speech, to money, and even time (from AI enhanced productivity gains). I'm doing my best to ensure we win & I'm glad I have you all in my trenches
