You are young. I assume your friends were young.

Young people don't have tragedies in general. But when they have it's generally some car accident, generally related to alcohol consumption or other bad drugs.

It's a logical assumption.

not really, it may be logical, but it’s not considerate to say that to someone. there’s a time and place to be logical.
