I think it's safe to say that any of these talking points that have been given you by the trans lobby are scientifically flawed. Science and observable reality just isn't their thing. Much easier just to shout down women and call us bigots, isn't it? Standard misogyny from the gender woo-woo.
“Bigot” is one of my favorite words that has completely changed definitions in recent years. It used to mean someone who was intolerant of others’ beliefs (like an antisemite) as opposed to characteristics (like a misogynist).
By the old definition, an anti-racist would be a bigot because they were intolerant of racists’ beliefs. But by the modern definition, it would be the racist who was a bigot and not the anti-racist.
Discrediting someone by calling them a bigot is so effective that the weaponization itself now has a name: “bigoteering”.
Isn’t language fascinating?
As I see it for the most part the people you accuse others of being bigots are usually bigots themselves since they are intolerant of that person's beliefs and want to shut them down and discredit them as you say, rather than discuss with them and potentially change their mind based on the new evidence they discover.
