I really think it will never happen cause Monero bros seem to dislike nostr for some (relatively good) reasons. Basically they think the censorship resistant will fade with time as relays will themselves be held by big tech

I think that the important point is that it’s an open protocol, anyone can easily run a relay, and anyone can choose from which relay to read so it‘s still a mich. ether alternative to everything that already exist today.

I don't think so. Monero is probably the second biggest community on Nostr after Bitcoiners. They even have a nice sized bounty for a Nostr client going on right now
